Last summer The Westin Palace Milan underwent the first of 2 phases of guestroom renovations. This phase was completed in September 2012 and the style of the new rooms could now be defined classical with a contemporary twist.
The new rooms, designed by Irene Pansadoro Residential & Contract Interior Design, have been inspired by the glamour of the 1950s, when the Palace was re-built, as well as by the birth of "Made in Italy".
The grey and black colours together with the gold finish (recalling opulence) and all easily spottable in the public areas, will be the main palette used in all of the rooms and in the corridors in order to create continuity with the public areas.
The result will be an eclectical look that will please both the modern and the traditional guests' tastes and will last in time.
